Ryan Costanza
Born into a family deeply rooted in the culinary arts, Chef Ryan Costanza began his career at the age of 13 in his family's restaurant. Over the years, he has worked in some of New York's most renowned kitchens and has opened award-winning restaurants. Costanza's culinary journey includes stints in Japan and Korea, where he learned non-American flavors and techniques. He has also worked with renowned chefs and opened multiple restaurants, including a craft Sake Brewery in 2022. After the pandemic, Ryan co-founded Pure Land Sake, which led him to Nashville, where he launched Present Tense, a hi-fi bistro and natural wine & sake bar and the forthcoming Cala Cala. Through his consultancy, The Wise Visitor, Ryan continues to shape concepts across California and Tennessee, including SAGO, Mothership, Kindred, Vulture, Dreamboat, The Hart, and The Electric Jane. His work is defined by precision, soul, and a refusal to separate food from music, design, and culture.”
